Coffee throughput is less to do with the machine and more to do with the operators

We did a open air community event and didn't have problems. But handling the rush/peak is the hard part.

We had 4 people working the cart.

    1. Taking orders/money/writing on cups
    2. Shots (used two group handles to ensure no down time. ie. grind and tamp while other shot was pouring)
    3. Steaming milk
    4. Pouring milk and calling orders.

Avoided using the hot water tap so the machine had a hope to keep up.

I think it did just fine.

Hi Paul thanks for that link. I think it's down to Expobar Megacrem as you suggested or the La Spaz Vivaldi II. Decisions, decisions. Might come down to weight.

We use an Expobar Elegance single group. Haven't had any issues with it and runs on 10A which is great!

Best single grphead for coffee cart?

I'm starting a coffee cart on a bicycle, so space & weight are crucial.
The three machines I'm looking at are Expobar Elegance, La Spas Vivaldi II or Cimbali junior.
Machine will be plumber in. Advice on which is best please?
Working...
