That's a good summary. How much more water is left when the refill indicator lights up?

I like LM because of the front access water tank and the quick heat up time. It fits nicely between the bench and kitchen cabinet. As most of the coffee machine you have to draw the tank out from the top, I find that it is very restrictive especially for those who has low kitchen cabinets.

Have you tested the heat up time? I saw a YouTube video showing 6-8mins heat up and 20-25 mins for steam pressure.

I just measured ~1.7L usable capacity. Hmm maybe I was a bit harsh and have just been making that many coffees. Front access is nice for sure. One thing I forgot to mention earlier is the drip tray design. It's awesome. The magnets lock it down and makes the machine feel so much more solid. Reviews had mentioned it but I found it still better than expected. The clarity in my shots isn't quite there, but I'm 99% sure that it is a grinder issue.

Heat up time is phenomenally good coming from an e61 machine. I haven't timed it but I'm pretty sure it is good to go in 15 mins.

Overall I think that this is the machine for people like me who just want to interact with the coffee and not obsess over details like preinfusion time, temp, pressure profiling, flow rates etc. Of the reviews I read there are 2 comments that really seem to ring true for me regarding this machine:

"This is a barista's espresso machine. If you're a barista, first and foremost, I'm going to predict you're likely to love it."

      and

"Boring. The LMLM is basically just the same thing everytime. Flow is just right. Temp control seems spot on. It just works. Set the temp, grind, distribute and tamp properly, lock the filter in and turn the switch (paddle). And the coffee will be just right. Nuances of the blend (or single origin) shining through and appropriate body/thickness/syrupy based on ratio/timing I choose to shoot for."
