  • Problem with la marzocco on 2 groups

    Hi guys
I am test driving my secondhand 2015 la marzocco PB 2 groups at home before my café open, but found a problem, had bleed the machine, and change the bar pressure to try fix it, but no luck, the problem is when I pour the water with no coffee in the group on group 1 the bar will drop from 12 to 8 but when I pour the water with 2 groups together the bar drop to 3, I had check with different la marzocco 2 groups it's should be not lower than 8 bar when both groups pouring water, I tried to give more pressure by adjust the rotary, but still drop around 3 bars when both groups pouring, any ideas?
When both groups have coffee inside, they seems running OK with 9 bars.
Sorry for my English, it's wasn't my mother language, if I didn't described clear enough please check the video below, thanks.

Problem with la marzocco on 2 groups

      Hi Angus

They're beautiful machines. As it's so new it's worth simply phoning / emailing La Marzocco tech support details via their website &/or one of the resellers to clarify.

Had la marzocco tech call me this morning, he suggest might be the build up scale in the gauage pipe so the gauage didn't really tell the truth, or maybe the faulty pump, I am getting the tech to visit and try to fix it

Sounds good. All the best with the repair.

Let us know where we can come to taste test the coffees when you open.

That's great Angus! Plus you know your machine is checked and ready to go and is right to start helping make your business some money. I'm sure the Boiling Point team would also have helped to make sure you had correct filtration as well.

                      Good luck with it all.

yes, they are a great team, I had also done the boiler descaling and steam extension adjustment. the machine is like a new one now, really happy and can't wait to open the shop
