  • Question of GS3 owners

Calling any GS3 owners for an answer if you will!!

Will two 8oz cups fit under the GS3 spouts?

If so will two 12oz (regular) cups for?

I know on my Linea mini you had to lean them in on angles to get 12oz cups to fit but I suspect the group clearance is higher on the GS3

    Thanks in advance!

Lukemc, i took a couple of pics for you just now.
i didnt have the exact same size glasses or cups, but this should give you an idea
otherwise if ever around the preston area, bring your cups around and try for yourself.

        84mm cups will fit easily
        11mm may be a struggle

the white cups in the first pic are 90mm tall
the glass cup in the second pic is 103mm tall
the 2 tall cups in the 3rd pic are 125mm tall
under the naked portafilter the tall ones fit easily

gap from lowest point of spout to drip tray is roughly 93mm

And anything bigger than that, you're making milkshakes

Thanks JohnA. Totally agree on the cup size, just trying to figure out if a GS3 will be suitable for small events etc where people will definitely want a 12oz lar-tay!!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but it seems the OP got his answer.

Could I please ask what the depth of the GS3 is ? I know the literature says 53cm, but is this including the PF handle? Just trying to work out if it would fit comfortably on my bench.

                  Thank you.
