  • Restoring a Gaggia E90 2 group

    Hi all,
I recently picked up what I believe to be a Gaggia E90 2 group commericial machine. I'm a mature age sheet metal apprentice and plan to have this as my first resto project. I'm looking at getting tips and advice along the way from this forum. I'm lucky enough to have a skilled coffee tech as a mentor but don't want to hassle him at all hours.

Hoping to source some portafilters soon as it didn't come with any.

I also have a 2 group Rancillio (unsure of model) coming which a friend is gifting me. He pulled it out of a cafe he took over and had no use for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Warm regards,
    Dan

    Welcome Dan...

Full on commercial machines or very exotic so-called prosumer machines, usually slot into this category...

You'll meet lots of like minded people in there who love the bigger beasties as project machines.
