Appreciate the info. Could you run me through your process with the single boiler at a time option?

      Sorry about late reply.

I basically pull 2 shots, one each for me and the wife, clean the group head, give the steam wand a few second purge to remove the condensed water, then wash my porter filter under my sink tap which is about 2meters away from the machine, by the time I have done this the brew boiler is back to 93 deg and allowed the steam boiler to come back up to 132deg/2bar pressure, I then steam my milk. With the 4 hole tip and steaming about 350ml of milk in a 750ml jug the machine will just keep up and not drop outside the ideal green pressure zone which keeps a nice roll on. If I am steaming for a single milk drink I will change the tip to a two hole for some more control and I can steam while pulling the shot without losing pressure or having to have the steam boiler active.
May still try to get hold of a three hole tip to see if it will work universally across the different volumes I steam.
