R58 brew lever slips to half way.

Oops, the brew lever kept slipping into “neutral”. I had it serviced. Lever shaft cam was worn and replaced, the upper valve was worn and replaced and a washer replaced. All good now. Parts were readily available in Perth.

Problem solved.
Descale. i did a descale today put 3 liters of cafetto descale through the machine as instructed. I put it through the brew tank and group and through the boiler.
the result - all back to normal.
at least for the time being.

My R58 has developed a problem. It works well but when the brew lever is put from on position to the off position it slips up to the half way position with the pump OFF.. so it works okay. If there is some advice that would be good.
