Yes, looking at the right gauge, right hand one. I rang the guy that makes the coffee at work, He said it hasn't been good for about a month. He said he told me but I don't remember. oops.
Seems odd that the gauge goes up to 12 bar with the blind p/f in. Doesn't make any sense to me.

ECM Controventa has no pressure

Hmmm , that is odd. Even in free flow with no p/f the rotary pump should be showing 8-9 bar . Just checking you are looking at the brew pressure gauge and not the steam boiler pressure? Also - was the Controvento working properly before in the work set-up?

Thanks for the response Kofekitt.
The machine is plumbed. The switch has been in the plumbed position from day 1. The machine doesn't have a tank at all. When I run water without a p/f the gauge reads 2 bar.

So is the machine run plumbed or tank? is the tank/plumbed knob in the right position? What pressure reading do you get running water through the group, but no p/f in place?

ECM Controventa has no pressure
Typical, all the family coming for Xmas and the heating element on the Rocket packs it in. Go to work and get the Controventa.
Get it home and there is no pressure when pulling a shot!! Water supply to the machine is good and I am at a loss trying to diagnose!
When I put in a blind filter the pressure goes to 12 bar. When pulling a shot it stays at 3 bar and the coffee just dribbles out.
Plenty of hot water and steam available.
Any Snobs have any ideas?
Cheers and Merry Christmas to all.
