  • Lelit Bianca

    Hi All,

I'm in the market for a new machine and think I'm sold on the Lelit Bianca. Does anyone have one? Are you happy with it?

Are there other machines that I really should be looking at in the 4k mark?

    Thanks

Better to post this up in the 4-Sale section near the top of the opening page...

Yes: Alex Duetto at a completely different level of build quality. Add flow control (later) if you really think you need it. Site sponsor Casa Espresso will be able to sort you (or point you towards a local reseller who can).

          I couldn’t find it under $4700 when I looked.
At $4k it would be a bargain.

No, they're not a completely different level of build quality. But they are different and choice is a wonderful thing.

I’m happy with my decision, Bianca arriving soon.
Lots of bang for the buck.

I'll agree to disagree with you then- and that's absolutely fine. I have seen inside a machine or two so the opinion is not coming from the ether. Ultimately, they both make great coffee and no doubt Amber will be enjoying better shots at home.

Lofty, Sorry about the thread Hijack but I think it is relevant.

        HI Caff.
I have no reason or desire to question your advice on build however everything I have seen indicates that the Bianca is very well built and should outlast me (with servicing and general parts replacement).
The only problem seems to be heavy handed US cousins snapping over torqued gicleurs.

It’s not a Londinium or Slayer but it isn’t in that price range nor do I need that build standard for my 3-4 shots a day.
I wanted an upgrade to a plumbed in, duel boiler with a rotary pump and prefer a classic style.
It didn’t have to be an E61 but I’m not up for a lever (yet) and a LM=$$$.
The Bianca gives me all that and a few bonus bits at a currently discounted price.

I’ve been pimping my Gaggia Classic for 20 years now so yes I am hoping for an improvement in my shots.
The new grinder should help too.
Thanks for all the advice, I’ll be needing even more when I get my hands on it.
