Sorry just saw your message. Couldn't be happier. Even my wife's noticed a flavor difference. I love the workflow, but most of all the silence when you do a pour. I've had it for about a year now and still very happy.

Jet Black would be your best bet for that, they usually have an 800 on display. Ring JetBlack_Espresso and make an appointment

How are you finding the Pro 800? ona_rampage
I too would like to try some shots with my grinder and regular beans. Currently have a Lagon P100 and Breville BDB (modified)

So my black handle on the lever is now spinning freely. Not sure how to tighten it? Do you gently pry off the silver cap?

Is that thirty seconds including pre infusion? I'm currently doing ten seconds for pre infusionOriginally posted by ona_rampage View PostA quick video of the machine in action

Early days and still dialing it in. Shot is a tad quick but tasty.

Nah stock screws all the way in so once it's on properly it doesn't spin. However wet hands and being a tad careless it slipped out. It also depends on your height vs height of the bench top the machine is on. But I am a lot more careful now and make sure I stand away from the arc if it ever slipped out my hand again!

I've never had an issue and have built up a lot of muscle memory that I don't even think about it now. I can't recall if the stock lever handle has any spin to it, but the timber one is screwed on tight which to me feels sturdier.

If that's what you can do in your "early days" you are in for a real treat.
What a great setup.
Cheers

Only a tad quick. I would play around with cutting your shot too by moving it out of the flow path.
Will be a bit basket dependant but I normally will take it out from under the flow at the 30 sec mark and it will continue to flow for another 5-10 seconds maybe. Worth an experiment to see what it's like.

Personally no I haven't. I learnt my lesson to not use my body weight to pull the lever. But rather stand back so even if it slips out my hands it will just snap up to the top position - not ideal and could cause damage to the machine too but least not to my face.
I have considered the wooden handles from Wilcox as they are oh so beautiful.

Seen references to this in the past .......
Quote by WBN above "Be careful of the lever, if not locked down and slips out of your hands it can cause damage"
Causes me to ask - has any of the 'Leva Boys' here experimented with handle mods?
Such as grip puppies? A foam overlay grip for off road motorcycles.
Very Nice setup Ona.
Maybe see if Andy will allow a name change to OnaLeva !
