It’s a real shame you don’t have a bit more room SillyBilly, even if you could find another spot in the kitchen. Read my post on the Boema for sale on this site. This is a rotary self priming machine that is simply rock solid and Australian made. I just recently replaced the two way solenoid after 10 years of use. Daily use for 4 coffees minimum and up to 20/30 at other times. With a good grinder like the Specialita (I have one of these as well) you’d move to the next level. The only thing is, hold on, it’s 43cm wide by 53cm deep by 52cm high. You can store cups, portafilters etc on the top warming tray though. It’s a lot less than your $4K budget though. Here’s a picture of mine.

Now that is a mighty beast!! This original one with the flat tray is my favourite over the deluxe. I like squares and rectangles like the similarly styled Rancilio L4/L6/L7 1980s. It's a shame that Boema are only importing at the moment. If we could somehow get some more volume fabrication in Australia and in particular sheet metalwork, Boema could find a page in its history with domestic machines.

Hi Sillybilly
Two thoughts , stick to your guns and measurements and look to those site sponsors or
on a different tangent , get a coffee cart. ( You can then decide to upgrade or not .. and hopefully can meet noise / width/ brewing and price requirements) You would still need a space for the trolley to park..... On the Decent thread they present an IKEA BROR type trolley,, but other types would suit.
