I believe the Botticelli is based on the Isomac Dual boiler machine. Isomac and La Pavoni are part of the same company. Internally are exactly the same.
Obviously the Specialty version is equipped with the flow control device as well...
The pros with ECM Synchronika are: bigger boilers, 2 bar steam pressure, stainless steel instead of copper
Rocket R Cinquantotto one of the best brands for prosumer, love the look of it (I guess this is personal)
I don't personally know the Izzo 2B but I believe they are great contenders too

I'm keen to hear some feedback on this machine too as it's cheaper than some of the alternatives with similar features.

How does it compare with the top end DBs like ECM and Izzo etc.? Are parts used in it just as good quality and replacement parts just as attainable?

Are there any features missing or aspects of it sub-par for me to steer clear?

It's on my list to consider for my next machine but there is really not much information or feedback at all on it, even for when it was called the Giotto.

    Hello Matt,

The Botticelli has been around a little while, all be it with some recent upgrades like the flow control kit.

You wont find too much under that name as until recently it was known as the Giotto. There was some confusion in the market around the Giotto name so La Pavoni recently change the name to Botticelli. ( a good move I think).

Spec for spec it does match up well against some others in the market with IMS screens and shower screen. It may not yet have the pedigree as some the other top end DBs like ECM, Izzo etc but at the end of the day it is your personal preference.

    Cheers

    La Pavoni Botticelli Specialty

Hi all I was wondering if anyone has seen or used one of these as there seems to be a dearth of detailed reviews or threads on this and by the specs it looks like a pretty decent competitor for the likes of the Lelit Bianca or ECM synconika with the profiling kit and I like the look of the machine.
Working...
