In my Rocket Giotto's case I've found that as the last thing before switching off from any session run 40-60ml out of the hot water wand.
That is a very very good refill drink for the boiler, and over the last cple years 99 /100 it doesn't light up the pump next day at switch on!
Rider: You machine may vary ! give it a try with yours and report back !
PSthe correct minimum qty is the key.

    Gotto agree.
At my age, I’m lying in a warm bed at that time of the morning with a full bladder, wondering how long until I really have to visit the ensuite.

Kymbolino I feel your pain, I live in a studio with no rooms so my bezzera strega wakes me at 6.15 most mornings for the priming, if i can be bothered i sometimes turn it on for a few seconds the night before.

I found what helps is watching SBS news from time to time, that reminds me how messed up the world is and how insignificant my boiler re-priming issues are in the big scheme of things #firstworldproblems

amberale Thanks for your comment. I had thouht of this before, having it programmed to come on for 1 minute at like 9pm (1 minute is the shortest duration I can schedule it to come for with my Kasa power point).

Two things: kinda feel bad about the waste of electricity, and also sometimes it hasn't cooled down enough by then to trigger the need for repriming.

For a while I was just manually turning it on for 10 seconds before I sent to bed, and that's when I noticed it won't necessarily reprime at that time of night.

Would be better if I could just force the repriming, but sounding like it can't be done.

Amberale's suggestion is exactly what I do for my bz10, and it works very well ... of course you still get the sound of a boiling boiler in the morning

    Hi Kymbo.
Assuming you have it set to turn off mid-afternoon you could try setting it to also come on for one or two minutes later in the day but before you go to bed.
That should have your boilers full when it starts up in the morning.

    Lelit Bianca

    Hi,

I have my Lelit Bianca on a wifi power point thingy so it turns on in the morning before we all get up.

When it first turns on, the pump seems to reprime one of the boilers for about 3 seconds and sometimes wakes up the kids. While it's a relatively quiet pump, it's quite loud at that time of the morning given how quiet everything else is then.

I really wish it could turn on silently.

Does anyone know how to force repriming of the boilers in this machine? That's something I could do before I turn it off at the end of the day.

    Or any other ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

Working...
