Out of curiosity does the You allow you to set a profile with pressure build up to 2 bars (for example) and then a blooming stage with pressure set on 0?
Cheers

I have read that thread, thanks, but It is a pain to upload your photo find out its sideways, go back to your imaging program, rotate it, save it, upload it again only to find out you rotated it the wrong way. Then do it all again but I will try harder next time. Promise!

yep, thats another little annoyance which will hopefully be fixed with a future firmware update. Doesnt give you long at all to save it, so i do as you do and just save it, dont like it, overwrite it with the next shot.
94ml is a perfect volumetric for me also

Just a follow on after a week of usage.
I'm really enjoying using this machine and the coffee its producing. I've mainly been doing manual lever shots to get a better feel of what the machine is actually doing. This morning I did another lever shot and I intended to do a standard preinfuse for about 5 to 7 seconds then ramp up to 9 bars then ramp down but I wasn't concentrating and the preinfuse went on far too long so I had a much shorter time to complete the shot. Probably similar to slayer shot. It ended up being the tastiest shot I've had so far using the same bean at the same grind setting. One fault with the YOU is you only have 10 seconds to save your lever shots or lose it so I've got in to a habit of saving every lever shot just in case it ends up as a god shot as this was. Made another cup using this saved profile and it was just as good. So repeatability is excellent. As mentioned above you can't save the lever profile with a custom name but I know that's coming in the next FW update. Also I generally dial in18:36 shots in 25 to 35 seconds at 9 bars and tweak from there but unlike the Decent you can't do automated gravimetric (stop at weight) shots but only volumetric (stop at volume) but 92 to 94mls of delivered water nearly always yields 35 to 37gms for the amount of coffee I use. So early days but I'm loving it so far.

@barri
It would seem that yes yours is a slightly updated firmware to mine
Mine is 01.30 for the display FW and 01.29 for the controller FW
I have emailed sanremo aus to see if i can get the latest one sent to me, and i believe another should be coming out around may sometime

yea dial in using the M button, or setup one of the custom profiles to 9 bar, and turn pre and post off.
with my 20g of ground coffee for a 1:2 in around 27-30 sec it seems to be around 94ml
1.8bar is the max for my steam also, some have reported been able to get to 2, buggered if i know.
I set mine to 1.6 as i only steam enough for 1 cup and find 1.8 a little too quick and powerful for such small amounts
93 is roughly were i have mine set also, seems to do a good job with most roast profiles for mine

I'm just using tank. FW screen shows 1.31 and 1.3 which is the same as what's mentioned on the FB page. So I think the FW hasn't changed but I think the drip tray is 2cm bigger but not sure. The default brew temp is 93.3C and the default steam is 1.8 BAR. What settings do you have?
Also coming out of standby mode I pulled the lever and flicked the steam knob but I'm not sure which of those actually woke it up.
Dialling in do you press the M button which I believe is a continuous 9 BAR shot and do you aim for 1:2 in about 30 seconds?
Yes, I have copied someone you might know on that portafilter including the added ends. People are starting to call me the JohnA protégé
