Anyone have this machine, or info about this machine? Recently seen some for sale, pricey, looks absolutely amazing and IMHO looks way better than a GS3. Hard to come by any good reviews on the machine and reliability issues etc.

Hooley Dooley - I just googled the machine out of curiosity, and the price stunned me. And then I had to ask - who the hell fitted a handle from a ratchet tiedown strap as the lever - it's hideous!
It's like they got 98% of the way through designing a great looking machine, and then sent someone to Bunnings to find something, (anything at all), they could use for a handle.
Having said that, if someone gave me one - you know, for free - I wouldn't say no.

For geeky types who like to play with their food(mummy used to smack me so I ry not to)
Greg Scace, one of the reputable, Science based, coffee researchers has a LM Leva X 1 as his daily driver.
I will buy one when I win lotto or get the Jack Dancer report.

Agree John. I didn't know much about this machine until I saw the post on CS. Have done some research and consequently I am picking up my Leva X single group this morning. Can't wait to play with it. My custom lever GS3 will go back to the office. Now what to do with my Rocket R9One.... Will do, give me a few days. However worth noting, very very first impressions, she is a biggie. When I first saw the machine, I was taken a back at just how big it was. I guess at close to 70kg this was always going to be the case. I actually like it, very solid, eye catching and feels commercial. Have pulled a couple of shots and they are sublime. Better than the r9One or GS3? Too early to say, but I suspect the difference will be marginal. More to come.

Actually one question I have. I have reached out to the retailer I purchased the machine from, but will also try my luck here. I want to get into the technicians menu to change some settings, it is asking me for a pin. The user manual suggests 0000 should work, but it doesn't. I just get passcode not correct. It was an ex demo machine. Any suggestions?

try 9999 !
or even 5382 (leva)

PS wondering why they choose a RHS steam arm / LHS water spout...
Don't recall a LM Home machine running this combo.
But Ive been wrong many times before!
PSS Like to hear your rundown on the lever /concentric cam / hyd piston setup / mechanism.
Very Nice unit FS !

Tried 9999, 1234, 4321, 2021, 1111. Nothing working.Originally posted by EspressoAdventurer View Posttry 9999 !
It appears that to change steam temperature and time and auto on/off: you need technician password. Frustrating.

Holy dooly, what a beauty. Funnily enough, I quite like my Italians around the 70kg mark so all good there!Originally posted by Faatshank View PostWill do, give me a few days.
