There are much more expensive brewing machines out there, i.e. espresso machines eg $27,000 Mistrals. In terms of "drip" or "brewed" coffee, it is most definitely the most expensive machine out there.

What city do you live in? I can perhaps tell you where you can seek out a Clover.

There are definitely some Sydney cafes out there that Ive spoken to that had the Clover on their to do list - that was prior to Starbucks stepping in - now theres no real chance of them getting their hands on one anytime soon..... unless they change their name to Starbucks, which isnt gonna happen this millenium.

Come to Melb. Weve got 2 inner-city cafes here that have them.

              Yes I have.

I definitely feel that you can really taste the characteristics of the coffee in a Clover. Very flavourful, not like the usual brewed coffee that you get. Almost like a syphon, but more refined.

At Liar Liar (a local cafe), they serve it in a large win goblet. Very cool.

I think Allpress has one Dan, bit closer than VIC.

Do Allpress put SOs through it or one of their blends?

Yeah for sure! Best cafes in Aust.... well, Im not gonna argue that one, I actually enjoyed the cafe scene a lot last time I was down there.... so Im quite impartial to both.

I forgot Allpress had one! A cafe I was at on the weekend (one of my personal favs - The Source in Mosman); next to their Synesso had a little 2 filter drip stand that they run their SOs through (as opposed to the St Alis blend). They were wanting a Clover, but said its pretty much not gonna happen now..... for a long while anyway.
