We are in the Snowy Mountains NSW. I use Purity water C150 filters. I am on a direct delivery model, they arrive regularly and are changed immediately they arrive.

Where are you located and what sort of filter?
I presume that the retailer made sure you had and appropriate water supply but you never know.

Thanks for the solid input, we will start with the tap and work backwards, not sure how happy the staff will be though!
    No coffees for them.
The machine has been going for about 4 years, weekdays producing about 10 to 15 cups a day plus lots of hot water for those boring tea drinkers. It has a filter that is changed regularly.

Unlikely it's a solenoid as it's all joystick and pressure driven. If you have steam, then it's likely there could be a blockage somewhere in the hot water line. Without opening up the machine, you can only try to take apart the tap assembly and see if there is any blockages at that section. Otherwise, it would be a hot water pipe inside the machine. Could even be scale inside the boiler. How old is the machine?

PS: It looks like a cracker of a machine.
Beautiful with all the features bar a FC that you could fit if you wanted.

I was thinking the same I worked on an ECM E61 machine which was almost completely blocked with scale at the boiler where the pipe for hot water connects.

A solid descaling might dislodge it if you are not up to pulling it apart.

Could the hot water come from the bottom of the boiler and be affected by scale while the steam comes from the top of the boiler and isn't (yet) affected?
I don't know this design, just asking.

They come from the same place, so notwithstanding some sort of boiler fill error, if you have steam, you should have water too.

Thanks Caffeinator, Its only delivering steam, not water. I'll try the tap.

It appears to be just routine valve based HW delivery. If, so you have steam, so you have hot water too.

The clunk- could be an inlet solenoid, but that shouldn't be related to the delivery of hot water.

    Ecm controvento

Looking for some guidance please as I live 6 hours from the nearest tech.

My ECM CONTROVENTO has stopped delivering hot water. It delivers a small amount and then goes "clunk" and stops. After about 10 minutes it will again only deliver a small amount before stopping again.

It still makes coffee fine and delivers plenty of steam.

    Thanks for any input.
