  • La san Marco flexa 85 problem

Hey guys , I’ve been trying to get to the bottom of why my La San Marco keeps shutting it self off . It does it randomly , especially at start up when the boiler is heating up , but sometimes it’s been on for a while and then I notice I has flicked it self off . It doesn’t seem to be affecting the shot quality.
I have brought it to jet black espresso Sydney and it was there for 3 weeks , only to be told by Lenny that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my machine and that it is most likely an electrical problem at home . My electrician has come over and said there is absolutely no problems with the circuit. So I’m reaching out for help and for answers before I bring it to segafreddo.
Jet black espresso has not given me confidence that it can be fixed so I don’t want to be stuffed around for another month with no machine . Lenny from jet black also said if it’s the circuit board it’s not worth fixing it .
I appreciate any input , thanks

G'day there, just a couple of questions for you to help with the diagnosis.
When you say that it has 'flicked itself off', what exactly has happened? Has it tripped the circuit breaker in the fuse/meter box, or has the machine itself turned off? If it's the latter, is there still power available to the machine?
If it's the machine itself that has turned off, does it turn back on by itself, or does it require some other intervention, ie turning it off and then back on?
    Steve

ok thanks so I initially thought it was tripping, but it just turns off , so it needs to be turned on again , which I just press the button again .and yes there is power to the machine. thanks Steve I appreciate any suggestions

My suspicion is a faulty on/off switch. it it becoming clearer as it is getting worse now, but not 100% sure .

I did contact la San Marco today and Roberto (Segafredo/la san marco ) is going to send me up a new switch , as that is what happens according to him.
