Perhaps they should stick to espresso equipment and stay away from software. Every time they release a software update- back to square one in my case. As for the firmware, I'll be leaving mine as is. With a gear pump, I don't need nor want anything to change.
Same here. Been trying since yesterday but to no avail. I've also seen reports from other users about the red indicator keeps flashing after the firmware upgrade. The solution seems to be that you'd need to open the machine up and flip the dip switch to the on position. Would like to avoid doing that if possible...
When error, yes it goes to red light flashing. I think that is like standby mode. Just turn the machine off then turn it back on and all back to normal.
Also unable to update to 2.10 (from 2.07), friend in Europe had no problems with his. Anyone spoken to LM and received any guidance from them? I'm plumbed in so I'm keen to try the line pressure pre-infusion!
I reached out to Caitlin from LM Home Australia about the issue and she said to report the issue through the app (to LM US or something I presume). Not very helpful so I haven't done that.
LM Italy told me they are upgrading the bandwidth and hope it will solve the issue soon. I guess just have to wait until everyone comes down and not to bombard the server.

I'm getting the same error today trying to update. Tried several times. I wrote to solutions.usa@lamarzocco.com to ask them what's going on. Have not heard back yet.
So after I reported the issue to LM through the app they manually updated my gateway on their end. After all, I managed to update my firmware in one go! No more annoying 'download error' messages! So yeah you may actually need to ask for help (through the app you can get help from the IoT aftersale support)!
How did you get help in the app? The only thing in the app that I see is on the User Account screen, at the bottom left is a "report a problem" link. From there, it seems to just send an email. Is that what you did?
Hey guys i seem to have this problem as well. Any known solutions? I tried pressing the report a problem on the la marzocco home all but doesn't seem to work as well. Very weird
