Hey guys,
This is my first post in this forum and will be making many more in the future. I have been making alot of espresso at home and embarking on a career as a barista and on one day opening my own place. So I would also like to say a big HI to everyone here.
Guys/Gals Im looking for a guide to making good syphon coffees. I was intrigued by this after having my first taste of a syphon coffee at the Sensory Lab that had recently opened up in Melbourne. I really loved the flavor profile as its tastes very delicate and reminded me of drinking a good tea. The smell on the nose was amazing, I have never experienced coffee in this dimension.
Anyways i realize the coffee lab technician (barista) was using a halogen stove to heat up the water for syphon. It happens my folks have one which they use for slow cooking, so Im really keen to know the best Wattage setting to put it on for the syphon.
Cant wait to hear your responses.
Regards
