Re: Bellman CX25P Steam Wand Leaking
After re-reading your original post, it does sound like it could be something requiring attention, however, are you sure its not just some water in the wand (condensed steam) that is being blown out, as we commonly see on many espresso machines to a greater or lesser extent, and may be more of an issue if you havent bled out any false pressure (if that is required on the unit), Im sure Jack will be able to help you out whatever it is.

Sounds like a gasket in the steam wand valve to me, best to get jacks opinion though.

No, it is not normal. I recommend you to contact Jack from Sorrentina. He is always being very friendly and helpful. I am pretty sure he can work something out for you.

Bellman CX25P Steam Wand Leaking
Hi everyone,
I just got one of them from Sorrentina Coffee this week and so far I am able to make some decent espresso-style coffee out of it. I use a medium-fine grind@0.75-1 bar for brewing then frothing@1.2 bar as recommended by the manual.
However, I notice the steam wand leaks once pressure builds up - say a drop of water every couple of seconds. It also refuses to close fully after frothing(leaking steam lol). Both happens when the valve is turned tight.
The bellman is brand new, no doubt about that.
I am wondering is that normal? I am rather worried what will happen as I continue to use it.
