Considering buying one to try but the Hario Sock works well and is a lot cheaper. Next order from espresso parts unless someone locally starts getting them in.

I had a go with one. Prototype though.

Not too different from the Swiss Gold. Same issues.

I like it, freight is crazy to Australia though. Hopefully someone will wholesale them.

Maybe if theres enough interest on here, we can buy a bunch and ship together.

Ive got some sent my way to see how they go. Been asked to trial them to see if wholesaling is a possibility. Will let you know some results when we get around to using them.

Awesome!!  Interested to see how cleanly they cup.  I guess thats the plus of papers or the likes of the hario sock.

              that looks really sweet.

i just got back from three weeks in Japan discovering drip and siphon coffee. I came back with the hario v60, pot and kettle and a porlex manual grinder. the coffee shop near the inlaws was really helpful and happy to show me how to make. the also had some coffee that they rested the freshly roasted beans over charcoal before grinding. really nice aroma in the grinder and the cup. have to remember to put one of these on the shopping list for next years trip.

I also bought a hario tca-3 siphon and a whole heap of other goodies to go with it. ive tried the siphon a couple of times and have really enjoyed. strangely i really enjoy straight black coffee using the drip/siphon and ive always been a milk coffee drinker before.

New from Coava an Aeropress insert, $15 USD. Another bit to add to my wish list. Would compromise the cleanness in the cup but would allow more oils in

In close up, sort of look like PF sized holes and with an Aeropress grind shouldnt be to bad.

Ah, well if theyre PF size then my espresso grind for aeropress wouldnt be too bad... (I do a quick brew style)

Id like to try one if shipping was available (and at a decent price).

haha I was waiting for you to post this one BF
Yeh, Im heaps keen to give it a go.
I dont mind abit of a gritty body from manual brews to be honest.
not that I expect it to be anything like that of a french press at all.
had a very clean cup from the KONE care of a chemex.

                              Cool thanks sniff.
Id assume that It would fit in an envelope, I know espressoparts wont do that sort of thing, but who knows.
