Aeropress and Porlex. Porlex fits in barrel and makes a compact package. Aeropress is simple to clean, and can be used with minimal water when doing remote travel and water can be a scarce resource.
Looking at upgrading lido 2 to Lido 3 and an Espresso Forge for an upgraded travel package.

I've always been intrigued by the Atomic. How do they compare to a relatively decent traditional espresso machine (such as the Silvia).Originally posted by KFT View PostWe use an "Atomic" cappuccino maker, heat it up on a gas flame or electric cooktop or even in the coals of a campfire if you need to.

I can't vouch for the Atomic, having never owned one, however I can provide some insight into the Bacchi. I took it last week on holiday and it was making better coffee than any cafe in the town. I had with me of course some freshly roasted beans and my trusty Lido for grinding on demand. I would say that if the Giotto makes a 9 out of 10 coffee (assuming GS 3 or similar produces a 10 out of 10 coffee, then the Bacchi produces a 7 out of 10 coffee. Plenty of crema and a great taste.Originally posted by tezza85 View PostI've always been intrigued by the Atomic.
