    yeah. they'll have to be a big set though. the hario scales barely hold the brewer.

    i went along to the padre launch/demo yesterday, reserving all judgement until i saw it in action.

    on the plus side...it's got an interesting design. you might call it chic. apparently the 02 version has thicker glass than the 01, so it's more durable. it seemed a little thicker than a chemex. the decanter is pretty sturdy (the demonstrator knocked it when putting the cover back on the base), and the capacity graduation markings are well-designed.

    on the minus side...it a) is awkward to brew with, b) gets messy and ugly quickly, and c) is awkward to clean. it would be best suited as an ornament, as opposed to an appliance.
