Filter for cold brew?

The last time I made a cold brew, I poured the coffee through a metal seive into a bowl which caught the coffee grounds, then poured the coffee out of the bowl through a paper filter into a bottle. The straining through the paper took a little while, but I wasn't in a hurry.

I'm lazy and get great results with my Aeropress - only thing is it makes single dose.
V60 over ice is also nice.

I am using a product called Coffee Socks. Got them from the US is a few days and for around $20 for two. Work great and you simply rinse them out when done, let dry and re-use.
They have made a noticeable difference with the filtered brew being a lot cleaner tasting. The added benefit is the socks do not remove any of the oils so you still get the little bite of acidity and balances out the flavours beautifully.

For my machine, aftermarket Aeropress filters work great (and fit perfectly).

Here is my lazy submersion method.
Buy a tea infuser like the one in the photo. I got mine from Aldi for under $10. (I like the metal mesh as coffee oils are able to seep through. I make sure the grind is not too fine. If your grind is too find, sludge comes through, and also the centre of the grinds might not get wet. Pour cold water and put it in the fridge overnight.
The next day, I simply take out the strainer with the coffee grinds, and drink straight up. Any sediments are usually on the bottom, which you can discard it at the end, or shake and drink it up. Cold brew ... perfect for the long drive to work during the hotter days of the year. On my more fussy days I would double filter and pour the cold brew through my mesh/paper filters for a cleaner cup.

Thanks gazza - that's great, especially if you can get a couple of uses out of them.

I use these for my cold drip and cold brew: CoffeeSnobs - BeanBay - Other Stuff - Plunger Coffee Filters - Small - SPECIAL
For cold brew just tie up the top and when your done gently squeeze the bag, they are pretty strong so I wash them use them again, get 4 or 5 batches from each.

Filter for cold brew?
Hi Guys,
I've had a couple of goes at cold brew (immersion method) and I've been quite happy with the results - have been using a Hario V60 with filter paper to strain the brew. I'm wondering if there's a more efficient way to do this as it takes quite a while as there are so many grounds. What do you guys use to filter your immersion cold brews?
Thanks,
