Hi, I currently have an Avanti Art Deco 6 cup moka pot and have been thinking of upgrading to the Bellman cx25p for some milk frothing goodness.
The issue being my induction stovetop is very very finicky. I had already tried another 6 cup moka pot (it had the induction swirl and everything), but it didn't work.
It would appear that the minimum base diameter is 9-10 cm + the base needs to be fairly solid/heavy in order to work.
Can anyone with the Bellman cx25(p) please comment on whether they think I will have an issue using it?
Edit:
The base of the moka pot weighs 480 grams. It is a very solid piece of steel.
I guess I am kind of wandering if the Bellman has the same solid feel to it or if it is made of a thinner steel that may not be detected by my cooktop...
