yah ive seen the website. kinda pricy tbh lol
Ah right. In that case you’d better check before you buy something as I still think BSP is the most likely thread type. I don’t think $40 is pricey at all for a gauge that you know will work, and as they are readily available I don’t think there’s much point buying a spare for it to sit around and never get used. I know you can pick up gauges from as little as about $10, but as I said above you need to check the operating temperature range. When I looked into this a few years ago it was very difficult to find a gauge with a high enough temp rating and when I did it was well over $100. So while you’d be able to get something cheaper than the genuine one it’ll be wasted money if it doesn’t work properly or dies quickly. It’s a bit weird that your machine arrived without the gauge in the first place, I hope the seller has sent you one by now.

Ok, maybe it is NPT. I suppose its just as likely as BSP. Di Bartoli have genuine Bellman gauges as a spare part for $40.

i have another question. what is the size of brass button connection of bellman's gauge? is it 1/4 or 1/2 npt? i will still get a 3rd party gauge and will make the original gauge as a back up..
I’m not 100% sure, but I would imagine the gauge fittings on the Bellman would be BSP. Have you been told they’re NPT or are you assuming? Most likely size is 3/8BSPP, but as I said I’m not 100% sure.
I wouldn’t recommend getting a 3rd party gauge. I looked into this in the past and to get a gauge that can tolerate the temps generated by something like a Bellman is really expensive. You can buy genuine Bellman gauges as a spare part from suppliers so if you want a spare this is what I suggest you do.

thanks. ive been reading here for a while now.

i used a converter too. so if im going to get a 3rd party gauge. it should be around 60-70psi.

Yes, hi, how are you? Welcome to the site.

Not 100% I'm sure what 'required PSI' is, but 1 bar = approx 14.5 PSI.

    Bellman CX25P pressure query..

i bought a bellman cx25p and package doesnt include any pressure gauge with it. im so pissed and im still waiting for the sellers reply.

i have a question regarding PSI. if i want to replace it with a 3rd party gauge. what would be required PSI? all i know is that it indicates 5bars on the original bellman pressure which i dont have..
Working...
