Hi Masha and welcome to CS

To tell you the truth I dont have a problem with online shopping with one proviso

For large purchases it is advisable to buy from a
    1) reputable establishment with a good track record
    2) that has good after sales service
    3) be contactable by phone, fax, email, and possibly video skype
    4) have superior knowledge of the product/s they sell

For all the reasons above I am happy to report that our sponsors meet and exceed the above criteria

That said you wont find a better bunch of people that also give up large chunks of there time to answer many and varied queries here on this site

    :-? I disagree Greg,

Some of the stuff which has landed on my bench would be poor value even if it was $500 cheaper. There are espresso machines and then there are espresso machines.

Looking and playing is greatly recommended. Check the yellow pages for commercial coffee suppliers, who may have domestic level machines.
If looking and playing is not possible, then the sponsors are good to talk to, and wont steer you wrong.

IMO the differences between the machines in each (price) category are not huge, and will all make fine coffee when used with a good grinder and good beans. When I bought my units here in Adelaide, places with a selection that could be trialled were basically non-existent. I searched CoffeeSnobs and bought with only a look at the machine, and bought the grinder unseen, and Im very happy with my coffee.

    Masha,

Shipping anywhere in Australia, and given you the back service is not problem. All what you need to remember is ask for a quote with insurance.

    Regards

    Renzo
