  • gaggia needing some TLC in TASSIE

    hi all,
Love this site and love my new Gaggia Classic...BUT... I bought it secondhand. The owner claims it is only 12 months old and was bought for the staff in her small office. It wasnt used much and the office closed down so it hasnt been used at all for a while. I figure its unlikely the machine was well cared for   so i would like to have someone look at it, clean it, etc so i can treat it well and get many good years (and coffees!) out of it. As i live in tasmania i cant seem to find anyone who will service machines reliably. Two thoughts:
    1. does anyone know of a reliable servicer?
    2. Can i give the machine a bit of TLC myself? If so, what?  :-/

I would really appreciate any help.

Any number of the Sponsors may be able to assist / provide advice...

Just use teh Contact Sponsors option at the bottom of the list... It is a group e-mail.

However a bit of home work before hand will make all the diferance..

http://www.coffeecrew.com/content/view/255/27/ is a nice and simple process that explains the use and basic items that you might need to follow.. If your harpy with doing what is suggested, the you should be OK for most of the every day TLC that might be required..
