  • 2 year old Quaha (Imat) Junior or no?

Since joining this great site a few days ago Ive been reading heaps of posts and trying to decide what coffee machine I would like to purchase. I had my heart set on a Rancillo Silvia as it combines quality with longevity. This would hurt my wallet a fair bit however.. I came across a used Quaha Junior.. A couple of years old. Could this machine be a good starting point for a beginner into the world of coffee? I really am stuck on a machine with a brass boiler as Im thinking it would last a bit longer and is a definite positive when selling... Any advice? Cheers, Brad

ps - be kind, my first post!

    Go for it bradley,

Theyre highly regarded as entry level machines around these digs.

Just make sure you pair it with a good grinder, fresh beans and a well calibrated group handle nut

Thanks 2mcm - appreciate the reply. Can you point me to any posts/sites that provide a bit of info regarding the machine?

        Hi Brad,

Try googling Greg Pullman and Nemox...He wrote a great review of his machine on the CG site. There are plenty of links to assist as well...

Option #2 is to wait for a 2nd hand SIlvia here. $500 will generally pick one up...

        Enjoy the ride
