Hi all,
After doing the excellent Home Barista course at Bellaroma Manly Vale, I realised I needed to ditch my (until now) excellent Krups Orchestra fully automatic monster and down-size to something I can control a little better. The Krups made pretty good coffee given I only had to hit one button to produce an espresso, but up against the EM6910 at the Barista course I realised what I was missing out on.
DJs will be delivering the EM6910 plus its partner in crime, the EM0480 grinder - TODAY!
Very excited. NOW I can churn out a coffee the wife is sure to drink, like, and keep coming back for more.
QUESTION
Any tips on what to do or try when I first fire the pair of them up? I know Im going to blow a lot of coffee beans getting the grind right, practicing the tamp, etc. Do I need to measure that the 30ml shot that the EM6910 apparently produces on its programmed mode is actually 30ml? (wheres that damned medicine cup now?)
Cheers all -thanks for your advice in advance.
