Re: Wanted - EM6900 or EM6910 Box
Hi Andrew
I got myself a box from John (thanks John)
Havent been on the forum for ages - sorry for not getting back to you.
Been here nearly 3 months and the only decent coffee i have had out is a vietnamese drip thing, over condensed milk - very good, and only 1/2 the price of a crap cuppacino!
I am having major dramas with the 6910 since the move. Not sure if they dropped it in transit, but the steam pump was intermittent, and seems to have now given up the ghost.
Cheers
Paul

Hardly limted in Indo - thats why yanks call it Java. We lived there for 3 years and local coffee was brilliant. Sure the espresso in hotels etc is poor, but infused coffee from Warungs was great.Originally posted by 3825252C3D262B2926480 link=1257409296/0#0 date=1257409296limited availability of decent coffee in Asia

Re: Wanted - EM6900 or EM6910 Box
Thanks Heretic
I have already tried through my local service agent in West mel (service Sphere) and Sunbeam aust, and also a few Harvey Normans, Myers etc, each time they just say theres nothing they can do
I got a Myer to take my name and number, and they passed it on to a Sunbeam rep, who was helpful, and told me she would keep an eye out for me.
So BUMP, surely someone in Melbourne has a spare box in the garage I could coax off them for some of my home brew beer??
Been in Jakarta for the last week, and going back this week until xmas, when I will come home and pack and take my family for 6 months. And finding decent coffee is almost impossible, so my blessed machine will be more important than ever!
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Wanted - EM6900 or EM6910 Box
I dont have a box but thought Id suggest giving your local sunbeam service centre a quick call. They might have a box floating around, eg from a trade in or dead machine (Ive just gone through that scenario here in Sydney, and left my old 6900 there box and all
).

Wanted - EM6900 or EM6910 Box
Hi All,
I have been floating around for years, but never really posting before. I have a EM6910 (which does the job), and an EM6900 before that.
I am likely to be moving overseas (to Indonesia) for work, and my machine will be more important to me than ever given the limited availability of decent coffee in Asia. :-/
I am after a box in good condition for the EM6900 or 6910 that someone has no use for.. I live in Melbourne - East, and will pick up.
Will also pay a token amount if someone requires it.
I have thrown out 2 of the boxes in the last 4 years, as they took up too much space, and now i finally need it i dont have one!
Thanks in advance.
