Re: What to get when space is an issue
If space is really an issue i would go for the silvia or the sunbeam em6910. You cant get much smaller than these in an domestic environment. And if you want a realiable machine then you should go for the silvia. I think it takes even less space then a sb em6910. am i right? :P

Not as much as some... So where will ya grinder be placed ?Originally posted by 232E232420333529410 link=1263118471/0#0 date=1263118471If we had the room Id jump on the Rancilio Silvia, however we had one of these at an old workplace and I recall it taking up quite a bit of room.
Em6910 and EM0450 pair on special for about that and at one or two coffees a day... NO problem; if managd with care.

What to get when space is an issue
Long time lurker, first time posting. Ive reached a stalemate with my wife, I say we need a decent espresso machine and shes always said no, excuse a, b or c. Ive finally whittled down the excuses to one: we dont have the room for a machine. Excellent! I figure Ive won, all I need to do is find a machine with a small foot-print that will still give excellent results. If we had the room Id jump on the Rancilio Silvia, however we had one of these at an old workplace and I recall it taking up quite a bit of room.
Im more than happy to only ever make a single cup at a time (wife is a non-believing tea drinker!). Im really hoping I can get some suggestions for a machine which would cost a maximum of ~$800. Thanks in advance.Tags: None
