Sand / Bead blast is a good step.... Then treatment of the affected area a repait AND then correct management. Gal will be expensive...

I had the frame of my LUCY sand blasted and powder coated for about $60, It looks great. I used paint stripper on it first as the original (poorly applied in certain areas thats why they rust) powder coating is very hard to sand blast off.Originally posted by 3734212A27253636440 link=1263122282/0#0 date=1263122282I bought a second hand Silvia. I bought a second hand Silvia. Found rust developing in the chassis. Took it apart, and found bad rust under the vibratory pump, where the mains power cord threads through the chassis/frame, and in the corrners. I have now stripped everything off the chassis.
