Re: Sunbeam 6910 Collar Replacement
As to yellow. Compressor. If you dont... Then you go for a drive to teh local Service station... Buy a Dare iced coffee and then go and use the compressed air... Need to get the old style servos.. Those new one are a pain for cleaning....
Interesting.. Al the ones I have done have a parallel thread and thus are very tight from the start...
As I said in the steps.
Loosen / Crack and that allows you to get some movement.
However it is not needed and you can do without touching any of the fittings.
Check out my other post today as to Gas fittings that I needed for my rebuild.. Bloody scale and a pin hole had rotted two fitting right out.....
The fun will be trying to get the broken one out with out stuffing the flare / olive; so that your new one can be fitted. If ya stuff it... Then the pipe will have to be cut and extra bits needed, let alone a cm or two shorter pipe work. Or ya go and make a whole new one up..
I just broke my mates fingers ;D And then beat him around the head while he used a flame and some special tools etc to get the broken one out..
Last time I ever let him in my shed.
