  • Gaggia Classic: no heat

My three-and-a-half year old Gaggia Classic gave up the heat this morning (not the best of timing, given its the middle of the easter long weekend!!!).  Worked fine the night before, this morning - no heat.  Is it likely that this is the end of a wonderful relationship or is there a repair possible?

Also: looking for S-E Qld repairers/service agents (preferably Toowoomba).  Any help/advice appreciated.

Not 100% but was sure these units had a resettable OT.

If not, it will be the Thermostat or the elements (= boiler replacement)

Mal. may know of a local repair agent... But would suggest time to upgrade. These units arte know to start having issues avter a few years... Not unlike many other units that try to bridge teh market between Cheep and Semi commercial.
