Just like to share how good the SB is at making great coffee.  It wont last as long as Silvia, but I dont judge my coffee by how long the equipment lasts but by whats in the cup as AM so often reminds us

BTW its getting even better since I took delivery of my Dema.RAL  :

        Re: Warranty on em6910?

        Hi,

Ive had an em6910 for just over 3 years now.
Makes a great coffee - while its working.
Unfortunatlely it appears that I purchased one of the dodgy machines and I have clocked up 4 repairs to date.
I did manage to have the first repair within the 12 month warranty period.
The real issue is finding a decent repairer.
My first 2(aka 3) repairs were done by the same repair agent.
I had the machine home for 30 minutes after the 2nd repair before I had to take it straight back to them to actually do the job.

So then 110 days later when it again failed I took it to another authorised agent.
When I called 3 weeks after dropping it off, I was told "Please dont call us, well call you when its finished".
2 Months later (yes- 2 MONTHS) I still hadnt heard anything, so I wrote a letter explaining my machines history and my inability to find an "authorised repair agent" who could actually do the job.

Sunbeam called and informed me that a) the agent was no longer recommended by Sunbeam and b) theyd be getting the machine sent directly to them and c) theyd be sending me a brand new 6910.

        Would I buy another/recommend a 6910?
        ... yes,..
BUT - back on topic - Id make sure I got the extended warranty.
It appears to me that warrantys are the repairers priority.
AND Id do research on locating a decent repairer, if it becomes necessary.

To me its kinda like getting poll position at Bathurst and being extremely proud of that even though you know you will break down half way through the race and not finish.

Do yourself a favor and look at something italian like this and a suitable grinder.
