A new machine... uuummm GOOODOriginally posted by 7057424D230 link=1276900278/60#60 date=1286187295I appreciate that but cost of the trip would be more than the labor costs.
I am really looking forward to a new machine 8-)
No cost for me to do as it is not a Job; just a Coffee hobby and if I can assist, then feel free to ask.
Tis why I said if you have teh collar... Or get it ordered in to sparkies at Albion - Only need the main body - as all other bits I have here.
About 30min to 45min max.

If ya a bit tight on $$$ use a paper spacer to assist with sealing.Originally posted by 64435659370 link=1276900278/56#56 date=1286176764I have had some trouble similar. I put a new seal in and a couple of weeks later it starts to leak. This is usually after someone in the house overdoses the porta-filter. I remove and refit the seal and it goes away until the better half over doses again >
.
Having said that I have wear in the collar and am to tight to spend money on getting the collar replaced.
PS.
1: Rubber seal = ~~$20
2: New Collar = ~~$55
3: Spacer = http://www.coffeeparts.com/bezzera/700728.htm
Opps. Quality workmanship to fit collar... A bit harder to find

It all sounds FINE... And if the double floor does not leak and gives about the same 12.30... Then I am starting to get confused.Originally posted by 7F4F43585855461D1D2C0 link=1276900278/54#54 date=1286151308Qs
1. Seal changed recently - couple of months
2. Pressure gauge gets to about 12:30
3. Using a blend of fresh roasted espresso blend from Rio in Adelaide. Grinding with Sunbeam EM0480 on setting 16-18 usually. Only ever use the single floor double basket.
4. After tamp the dose is usually 6-8mm below the top of the top surface of the rim.
5. When it leaks the gauge is at that same position (~12:30)
6. The group handle is turned to about 5 Oclock
7. Ive been out all weekend. Ill do the 5c test on tomorrow. Thanks for tolerating me
Exactly how old is it ?
Does your group have teh steeped or teh tapered lugs ? And is teh steam tip all smooth or does it has a couple of flats..
Bugger it... There is a 3 digit number stamped into teh black ID label to the right of teh water tank. Open teh rear SS door and let me know what the 3 digits are.
BUT - Sounds like you may be just needing to lock in a bit harder.....
Shame you were not just around teh corner

ANDOriginally posted by 1828243F3F32217A7A4B0 link=1276900278/51#51 date=1286077734So, its leaking again. As soon as I put coffee in it. It leaks.
Good grind and tamp, the coffee is coming out with good rate and colour. But it just keeps leaking around the back.
Dont know what to do!??
Answer the QUESTIONS and these as well..Originally posted by 6B444D4F58674B444B4D4F474F445E2A0 link=1276900278/50#50 date=12859737051: When did you last change ya Seal ?
2: What is Gold... 12:00 or 1:00 or ?
3: What Beans / Grinder and Basket type do you NORMALLY USE ?
1: What basket you using when you use coffee?
2: What is the dose level after tamping - mm below the rim ?
3: What is the position on the gauge when its leaking ?
4: What is the group position
5: 5 cent piece test ?
6: Sweet spot ?
As well as... When did you last change the seal etc...
Could be a cracked internal pipe... But if not leaking with a Double floor and the Agent has tested... I still have to say USER - At this stage.
Stop making assumptions OR rushing - Just slow down and answer the questions that have been asked.. Otherwise NO one can assist.
