Re: Purchasing a new coffee machine - In Adelaide
We have a Sunbeam 6910 and EM480 grinder, and get great coffee.
The Good Guys in Firle had the 6910 for $749, plus a free EM480 grinder, and a free Sunbeam barista course.
A mate and I did the course, and were trained on the same models that we had bought.

Be sure to come back and let us know how you go! It benefits the sponsors to rate them honestly, and its nice to know what sort of gear people end up buying

Re: Purchasing a new coffee machine - In Adelaide
Coffee Craft in the south, The Coffee Barun in the north.
Both are quite mad about good coffee, both are sponsors here and will give you great information, probably some hands-on, and will then get you what you want at a good price. Id call ahead to make sure you go at a convenient time.
Make sure they know you are a CoffeeSnob--yes, it makes a difference.
I can also recommend a telephone call to Talk Coffee.

Re: Purchasing a new coffee machine - In Adelaide
I was just in Adelaide recently and had the chance to visit Coffee Craft (sponsors). They had a great range of machines, and from my brief visit it appeared they knew how to make coffee too
By far the best thing to do with a first machine is try it out, and Im sure they could help you out there. Youll need a grinder too.
I also found a good roaster in Hahndorf (Just Coffee) but Im sure there are others closer by.
Hope that helps!

Purchasing a new coffee machine - In Adelaide
Hi, Im looking at purchasing a new coffee machine (my first coffee machine) My husband is the big coffee lover, and Im hoping to surprise him with one.
I dont want to spend over $1,500. Would prefer it had a grinder attached to it, but not that fussed if it doesnt.
Looking for one that is relatively easy to use, but as I most likely send hubby to a a barista course, so if it requires a bit of skill it should be ok if there is some difficulty to it. Im very lost as to whats best to purchase, whats a good price to pay and where is best to purchase from. Would appreciate any advice.Tags: None
