Re: Lelit Combi- Grinder not working

    Hello Hugh,

Assuming you hear the grinder operating but see no ground coffee from the chute, its choked with grinds which are too fine. Events like this can happen with changes of temperature, humidity or bean.

Wind out as far as possible in the coarse direction (anti-clockwise) and try that with some beans to clear it.

If no go, we resume on 04 Jan.

    Chris

    Hi Hugh

Im not familiar with Lelit - but years ago when I first got a rocky grinder, same thing occurred. I ended up ringing supplier - much to my embarrasment, all that was happening was that the largish beans I was grinding managed to block the inlet shute to the grinder due to finger guard design - a couple oof taps on the side, and all was good. I then removed finger guard and no more problems. May be worth checking if this is what is happening for you, expecially since it stopped after making a cuppa for your mum

    cheers

    Lelit Combi- Grinder not working

    Hi all,

Ive owned my combi now for about 6 months. Despite the grinder knob being back to front (ie the knob is for the models that have the grinder on the left side, mine is on the right) I absolutely love it. For someone on a budget, I could not recommend it more!

Naturally when yesterday we all ventured to my parents place for xmas lunch, the combi followed and I promised free flowing coffee. But after making a double espresso for my lovely mum, the grinder stopped working! I thought it must have been either a loose connection or something so I quickly took off the cover, but everything seemed to be in place. Unfortunately Im not savvy with these types of things.

I was wondering if anyone else out there has had this problem (hopefully not) OR know of some potential fixes to this?

Im happy to take this back to talk coffee where I bought it from, as Chris customer service is great. But with the time of year I thought that this path may take longer than I can possibly handle.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks guys

    Hugh
