Re: EM6910 group handle
lugs are those two things on the side of the group handle that allow the handle to stay on the coffee machine.

Re: EM6910 group handle
Hi,
Thanks for your replies.
The baskets are all the standard ones from sunbeam. I dont think this has been modified in any way.
The seal has been changed but still the same issue. I read about the spacer so am going to try that out when I print off the template that someone thoughtfully put up here.
Ive looked at the group handle and it doesnt look old or worn. I know someone with a 6910 whose group handle Im going to compare it to to see if they are different.
BTW what are lugs?

Re: EM6910 group handle
If the lugs have been modified then locking in at 4 is possiable.
The shape / type of basket will also have a impact but not major.
The new groups have a different shape to the lugs....
1: lock it in a bit harder
2: If new seal fitted a spacer may assist you to locking at 5.
I have seen 6 all the way to 3 as collar and lugs change.

Re: EM6910 group handle
Are you using the stock basket from sunbeam?
From your description, sounds like worn lugs or theres a chance that youre not using the same basket provided by sunbeam.

EM6910 group handle
Hi,
My group handle on the EM6910 is causing water to leak - has anyone got a pic of a group handle I could compare it to to see what could be different to cause the issue? Or know what it could possibly be?
None of the sunbeam repairers have them in stock at the moment. I thought it was the machine but when the repairer put his group handle in it locks fine at 6 oclock but mine keeps going to about 4oclock.
