My Miss Silvia is a 2000 model, after all these years the element has finally gone. Ive replaced the odd thermostat and solenoid over the years so Im happy to have a go at replacing the boiler, but can someone tell me if the replacement boilers they sell now at places like Coffee Parts and Jetblack Espresso will fit in an old machine? I heard somewhere that you need some sort of mod kit to make things work with the old fittings.
