Hey guys,
I love the forum, and I love coffee so I bit the bullet and decided to buy an EM6910 and I have a grinder ordered as well.
Just some questions need answering if you guys wouldnt mind? I used the search function but alot of my questions didnt come up.
1. With the single / double baskets - will the machine put enough water through to actually make a 12 oz cup of coffee? Or is it expected that the 1 / 2 cup buttons are only enough to make espressos? Do I have to hold down the manual button to get more water out for a full cup?
2. The metered water for the 1 / 2 cup buttons - does this assume you will also have to add the heated milk to the coffee?
3. I see "back flushing" is talked about a bit. Do I need to add any cleaning agent to the system to help it clean better? Any tips on doing this properly?
4. What can I use to clean the group handle? Is hot water enough?
5. I have read that the group head rubber seal needs replacing every year or so. Are these easy to change and buy? Reason being is that my machine is second hand so I may need to replace it sometime soon.
6. If I am only making 1 coffee, do I still need quite a bit of milk in the jug for it to be textured properly? Can I retexure milk again after it has already be textured? (As in texture it, put it in the fridge and take it out later for another cup of coffee)
Thanks in advance guys.
