In general & it applies for all things mechanical

First check the easy things? Is it just coffee oils that have solidified

    If not
Strip down, clean, new seals & re assemble

    Kosmo,
what would you recommend to remedy this?

we came to the same conclusion, and tried using a cooking oil to free it up (dont really want to spray inox in there).

Without actually seeing it and having a calculated guess
I would say that the piston and spring mechanism is seized

Tech help needed with "Little" brand, lever machine

    Hi all,

I bought this machine ages ago, was told it needed a new element. I had the machine sent to a coffee machine place and they told me the element was fine and it works well for what it is. Received a few days ago and it does heat up water fine.

Its a very basic machine, on/off, no steam wand and a lever to draw the water through.

The problem is I cannot get the lever to go up, nor draw any water through. I have tried with/without water in the boiler, I have pulled the machine apart and tried to bring the whole assembly out of the group without success. It just feels like its jammed completely.

I cant find schematics at all, anyone know anything that might be able to help me out?

    Cheers.

PS. I have attached a few small photos.
    PPS. Not my house
