Some help please, I have just spent nearly $400 on a new "generator". (Besides the up front and another $300+ over the life of the machine for other repairs, at one a day it has cost about a dollar a cup !)
I am technically challenged with these machines!
It worked OK for about 4 weeks and today the steam wand just spurts out water as the unit inside throbs away.
I know I should have thrown it away before the $400 pain but.......
If the generator and lack of steam are not connected I will cut my losses. If it is connected the repairer will have a visit from me.
In the meantime I am looking at the Lelit Combi PLO42E as a replacement whatever happens, maybe a Lelit dealer wants a trade in???!!!
    Thanks in anticipation

Not intending to sound facetious, but I dont think thats gonna happen... :P

On a brighter note though, the Lelit is a terrific machine that punches well above its weight and cost. They are beautifully made and capable of making excellent coffee for many, many years with a modicum of user maintenance... 8-)

Thanks for that, my suggestion was rather tongue in cheek. However I still need to know what the generator does so I can talk to the repair company with some apparent knowledge.
With no coffee maker looks like it will be a coffee free weekend the nearest decent coffee is about 45km away. I will stay strong..... 8-)

Any chance you can move to a Plunger or similar, until things get sorted out for you? :-?
