OK, so Im starting from a very low level here. I currently have a Saeco Magic Comfort which quite frankly has never given me a great cup of coffee so its time to upgrade as its broken for the 2nd time!
I tend to drink short blacks and cappos and the missus drinks long blacks. Im looking for a machine that will give me a great hit so I dont feel that I need to go round to the local barista for another one 5 minutes later!
Ideally I want to stay under sub $1,500 and I also need to purchase a grinder so would appreciate your thoughts on suitable options. Ive been reading the Brevile dual boiler thread which looks interesting. Anything else I should consider as an alternative?
Id also really like to see and taste the finished product before purchasing, any feedback on somewhere I can do this as well as make the purchase, happy to travel within reason! Im in the inner west of Sydney.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
