My Sunbeam EM5600 is in the process of dying. It has given me 3 years of faithful service making a grand total of 2 cups a day, and seems to do everything I need, so Im quite happy to simply replace it with the same model.
But, if theres a reason to upgrade, nows the time to do it.
Options seem to be - replace the EM5600 for around $250, an EM5900 for around $300, OR the EM6910 for around $640 - which includes an EM0480 burr grinder (RRP $199). My current grinder is an EM0450 which is also 3 years old but working perfectly.
Whaddya reckon? Any reason to upgrade given my 2 cup/day creation rate?
