Hello all,
First time here and its a pleasure to find such a great site to read all that is coffee.
A little history about 7 years ago when I was living in Auckland an opportuniy came up to but a Brasilia Mini Lady quite cheaply. Well at that stage I knew nothing about brewing coffee, steaming milk, let alone why you should grind your own... her indoors had a fit when I brought it home... six months later when I presented her with a lovely foamy hot chocolate she could see the benefits...
Prior to the shift from Auckland to Brisbane the decicion was made to get rid of a bit of excess baggage, Mini Lady included. So I sit here now in brisbane without a coffee machine, and have realised that good coffee is so much harder to come by here. Sorry but its the truth. The guy downstairs from my office at the coffee shop watches me walk past every morning because I am sure the neighbours cat could produce something more appealing.
I have now convinced the wife that we need a new machine. I have read quite a bit and "she" will be happy if I continue to poduce the hot chocolates, I want to be able to produce good coffee however my budget is around the $750 mark. I was looking at the sunbeam em 6910 with its grinder. Any thoughts and opinions?
Thanks in advance
Jimmy
