    Re: Mid range coffee machines

    So Coffaholic,

Hows the Splendor coming along? You should have had it up and running for 4-5 days now!

Hope its treating you well and hope to read a review from you sometime! This machine looks awesome and its in my top 2 for when I get around to upgrading... which wont be for a while yet!

    Cheers,
    Ben

      Hi BenandFaith

I had a few problems with delivery but the Splendor finally arrived, unfortunately the perspex siding was damaged in transit. I informed Chris and he has organized a new one to be delivered soon so thats great news.

The best part so far has been the coffee. When I first bought a coffee machine (I admit my first coffee machine was a full auto Saeco the only regret I have was not doing more research and getting a real coffee machine in the beginning). Fortunately I have a wife who let me indulge my coffee addiction and she sent me on a barista course for my birthday. I have never ever tasted coffee as good as I made on that course.... it meant that every coffee that came out of my Saeco was an unfortunate disappointment.

So far I have made quite a few coffees with a few test cups Ive quickly started making fantastic coffees and I think I can still get them a bit better. I have no regrets I love the coffee that it makes.

Hmm now where was that catalog for a new coffee grinder again ....
