Sunbeam 6910 cup dances

Hi All,

Question to Sunbeam em6910 owners.
While I texture milk the machine sounds rather ok. But when I make coffee I find it rather loud and it is vibrating a bit. Cups even tend to move and I have to reposition so I do not spill my precious coffee.

Is it like this for you as well and considered normal?

Firstly, welcome to Coffee Snobs.

Secondly, no, the vibration on the 6910 I use does not move the cups around.
Its not considered normal.

sounds like youve got TOO much vibration. Yes the 6910 is on the tad loud side compared to other machines, yes there is slight vibration and i have say 12 cups on top (stacked 2 high, 2 rows of 3) and they gently ting each other which is annoying, - but what your describing sounds TOO much. your pump might be on its way out, just put some rubber pads underneath and wing it out!

Hi jberzin3, I purchase my 6910 just yesterday and was shocked at how loud it was at first and how much rattling there was,... but by adjusting its little feet to make it sit flat on the bench,.it cut out a lot of the rattling. With mine, the front right foot was almost off the counter and I just twisted that one until it was tight on the counter.
